I’m looking for songs to cover. Any ideas?
Open Mic Adventures
So last week I decided that I wanted to play open mics around Atlanta. I found out through friends that Woodstock Coffee House has open mics every Monday so I went ahead and hit them up. Then on Tuesday I dedicated most of my free time to finding more open mics in the area. I found a bunch! I was really exited! So one by one I’m knocking them out…each one has been it’s own experience. Totally awesome! Meeting all sorts of people and hearing all kinds of stuff! Lol
My adventures have just begun and your ALL welcome to come with whenever you want! Just let me know!
(I wanna post something for each one individually…it’s coming. )
(if you have pics or anything of the open mics send them my way please!)
Usa should make it to the next round
Along with Uruguay, then we’ll show them real futbol!
I was just telling Ron Ward that same thing last night! Lol
Losing Friendships To Time
We grow up and grow old and few friendships do last,
We move out and move on till our years are all past,
‘How years tear us apart they should pay for their crime,
‘How I dread and I hate losing friendships to time.
Been talking to old friends lately. Friends I haven’t seen or talked to in a while. Some of us have changed so much. It’s not as easy to stay friends as it once was. I hate it! …and well that’s the thought that birthed this one. Hope you guys enjoy it.
Dear Disciplee
In darkness now you long to glow,
It makes me prouder than you know,
My labor’s fruit begins to show,
How great it’s been to see you grow.
This was for all the Gwinnett youth; I’m honored to have a chance to work with you and be your friends. You are a great blessing to my life.
(Paul says this to the Thessalonians [believers who Paul had worked with and who actually fallowed God’s ways] and he was speaking for the apostles [People that where going out into the world and making disciples] ….)
“For what is our hope, our joy, or the crown in which we will glory in the presence of our Lord Jesus when He comes? Is it not you? Indeed, you are our glory and joy.” -1Thessalonians 2:19-20
The beating of my heart is a drum and it’s lost
And it’s looking for a rhythm like you.”
— Air Supply
‘Retune to me,’ declares the LORD.
Return to me,
Turn from your ways,
Return to me,
And you will see brighter days,
-
Return to me,
Your past is gone,
Return to me,
NEW has just begun,
-
Return to me,
For I love you so,
Return to me,
Do you still not know?
-
Return to me,
For I want you near,
Return to me,
Am I being clear?
-
Return to me,
Is what I hope you do,
Return to me,
And I will return to you.
